During the course of the repair, the assemblies are adapted to the mains voltages that are
common today compared to the production period. Furthermore, the potentiometer for
speed adjustment is replaced with a high-quality one with a metal shaft and housing
and the connection of the potentiometer to the assembly is made pluggable, which
makes assembly considerably easier. The original rotary knob can of course
continue to be used.
Be sure to check whether your machine's power supply has been retrofitted with a capacitor or
whether the capacitor is installed at the factory (see Shop Article: retrofitting a capacitor...).
